Key Responsibilities & Requirements
An enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to contribute to a clients’ program(s) and needs. For this regional Program Specialist under Program Management role, is primarily responsible for executing, managing and supporting the customer’s risk monitoring program to ensure the assessment & plan is executed against expected timelines, monitoring and reporting the compliance and ESG/Human rights due diligence/Responsible Sourcing/Cooperate Social Responsibility performance of the global supply chain, communicating directly with global and regional level of suppliers pre & post assessments and working closely with the client’s program leader to drive the effectiveness of their program(s).
Program Management
- Act as the regional program specialist on a specific client's(s) ethical sourcing requirements and support the regional risk monitoring program externally, including providing clear guidance to suppliers, responding to inquiries, report reviewing and following up corrective action plan process, and maintaining updated systems and documents.
- Plan, communicate and continuously track the execution of COC/due diligence assessment program ensuring assessment activities completed per targeted timeline, or other risk interventions as required and following escalation procedures/reporting as appropriate.
- Review all audits and/or risk interventions (such as submitted audit reports & CAP plan) , with focus on areas such as high risk & repeated findings, critical issues management & policies implementation
- Identify areas for improvement and work with customer’s supply chain to drive positive impact & continuous improvement execution plan and provide necessary recommendation/best practice to mitigate the corresponding risks
- Assist in the deployment of the Grievance Mechanism and escalate GM cases for follow-up action.
- Keep systems and trackers up to date, accurate and available to customer on a regular basis
- Maintain client’s program data for risk analysis, performance scoring model and KPI tracking
- Maintain internal guidance, standard operating procedures and instructions to clearly document working progress, meet client expectations and SOW obligations.
- Other ac-hoc program activities assigned by Program Leader
Data Analysis and Reporting
- Leverage customers’ supply chain data collection to create program trend data reporting/trend analysis that guide decision-making across supply chain teams
- Understand each clients’ program risk identification mechanisms and optimizing relevant reporting methods
- Build reports / trackers on behalf of selected customers. Reporting includes supplier performance in social responsibility, supply chain risk exposure management and Risk mitigation (CAP) etc.
- Proactively identify data-correlations and help interpret and analyze for customers
- Focus on data collection, program performance analysis, and data presentation using Microsoft office, PowerBI and other relevant tools
- Respond promptly, accurately and efficiently to data reporting requests and questions from internal and external stakeholders.
Technical / Professional Qualifications / Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal English and Mandarin, other SEA languages are also preferred;
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field and/or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of program/project/auditing experience in the Ethical Sourcing/Labor Compliance/Social Risk monitoring area either for a brand/retailer or service provider;
- Detail-oriented, proactive, willing to learn, and eager to find cracks in systems to expose problems and identify risks.
- Proficiency in Advanced Excel is required. Experience with data visualization tools such as PowerBI, AI tools (like ChatGPT) is preferred.
- Basic understanding in supply chain ecosystem, ethical sourcing auditing to codes of conduct and industry schemes, manufacturing experience and supply chain practices
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders and translate data into easy-to-understand insights.
- Proficient in transforming large supply chain data into reports and automation
- Can work under pressure, results oriented, self-motivated, responsive, and detail-minded and comfortable collaborating with people across different time zones.
- Ability to work independently with a high level of integrity
- Able to conduct regular business traveling when necessary
