Role purpose:

The Regional Commercial Operation Lead is responsible for:

  1. Drive commercial operation excellence by implementation of global commercial strategy, development of regional strategic initiatives to support the full-potential growth plan
  2. Leading the marketing team to ensure alignment, implementation and the execution of the growth-driven marketing plans and campaigns for LRQA for the region
  3. Developing, performance evaluation and continual optimisation of marketing plans and campaigns to reach the right clients at the right time, resulting in lead generation, cross and upsell opportunities, and increased brand awareness, consideration, advocacy and loyalty.
  4. Be responsible for sales operation for the region, by working with Business Units, and sales team leaders to ensure CRM adoption, sales enablement, monthly sales closing, and cross selling opportunities
  5. Act as the regional sales operation conduit with corporate commercial functional team, to deploy global initiatives in the region and provide feedback and regional support requirements to corporate functional team

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Regional leadership team and key global stakeholders to evolve the commercial strategy for your Region with a strong focus on sales effectiveness and execution.
  • In line with the regional and global strategies and plans, develop and ensure that the team manages and executes regional marketing plans and targeted campaigns to increase generate leads within targeted product and service categories and deliver Account Based Marketing plans for growth to budget, to meet demand gen and sales target, with proper ROI management in commercial spending.
  • Support increased LRQA brand awareness, thought leadership, subject matter expertise, consultant and key industry association/stakeholder relationships/partnerships by supporting the implementation of defined LRQA PR strategies, with consistent brand image
  • Working within the CRM, GA4, PBI and other tools and platforms, ensure the ability to provide monthly reports on regional marketing campaign effectiveness and engagement in order improve lead generation, market brand and positioning to support achievement of demand generation and sales targets.
  • Be the commercial function (and operation) conduit with global commercial functional teams, finance teams (regional and pricing),  participate and represent GC region in regular global meetings.
  • Work with BU heads and BU sales leaders and other stakeholder to execute the sales operation procedures from lead to order, including adopting the tools include CRM, pricing calculator, contract review process, etc, and commercial cost management.
  • Ensure timely and accurate sales forecasting aligned with the monthly global reporting and review cadence.

 

Key health & safety responsibilities:

Eliminate or minimise employee's exposure to risks by reviewing, regularly, the health and safety risk register, applying appropriate controls, communicating results of risk assessment and ensuring health and safety is considered in the planning and execution of all LRQA activities.

Manage your own compliance with health and safety rules, instructions, systems and legal requirements, ensuring you are suitably trained and adequate resources are available to work safely.

Monitor and review health and safety performance, observe safety behaviours in the workplace, taking appropriate corrective and preventive action as necessary and suggesting and implementing improvement activities.

Technical / Professional Qualifications / Requirements:

Degree level education in a marketing discipline with at least 8 years of B2B marketing and campaign management and execution experience or equivalent years’ experience in a similar B2B marketing role.

Experience working within the Assurance Sector is an advantage, not mandatory   

A proven team leader with strong influencing skills; able to delegate and push back

Strong communication skills, with an ability to present material in a way which is appropriate to the level of knowledge of the audience.  Ability to read, write, speak and communicate in English and local language.

Experience in providing marketing campaign and channel execution and support to meet sales targets

Adaptable and well organised with a practical minded approach and the ability to work on multiple tasks and to tight deadlines

Knowledge of applicable IT and digital technologies.  Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM, local AI tools, Hootsuite, SEMRush and/or similar marketing and sales systems required.

A proactive approach to problem solving, seeking management input, advice and direction when needed, with good communication skills

Experience analysing campaign results, data, preparing reports and making recommendations for campaign improvements.
