The Role

As a Payroll Advisor at LRQA, you will be responsible for managing the relationship with the Global Payroll service provider for a number of country payrolls. you will work closely with in-country Payroll provider teams to provide employees with a first class, legally complaint Payroll service. In addition, you will use your strong communication skills to develop great working relationships with the People Team, business streams and colleagues to ensure all tight Payroll deadlines are met. 

 

Key Responsibilities

As a Payroll Advisor, you will be responsible for:

  • Working closely with our Payroll provider to ensure Payrolls are managed to a high level, ensuring quality and accuracy at all times. 
  • Overseeing non-HR related pay/deduction inputs such as expenses and other taxable benefits which require reporting through Payroll. 
  • Perform Payroll checks and controls, eamining each Payroll run for accuracy before final sign off.
  • Act as the employee contact point for any post Payroll run related queries. 
  • Manage any employee escalations.
  • Ensure countries are compliant for employer benefit reporting including year-end reporting.
  • Support internal/external audit queries.

 

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Strong technical Payroll experience and knowledge.
  • Proficient in Excel , VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
  • Expereince using HCM Sucess Factors would be beneficial although not essential.
  • The ability to work to tight deadlines under pressure, whilst maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. 
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to adapt your style when necessary.
