Role Purpose
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Finance Manager to join our team in the Greater China region. The successful candidate will be leading all G/L function in month-end closing to ensure all entries are accurately recorded and reported for monitoring financial performance and supporting decision-making processes. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements
- Lead GL team of 8 on A/R, A/P functions for 22 legal entities.
- Oversight in month-end closing process including consolidation review, revenue recognition review and reconciliation of movement of Accrued and deferred income.
- Oversee Business direct cost including subcontractor fee, direct travel cost and others variable costs driving margin improvement..
- Manage TP calculation and posting and monitor IC imbalance and reconciliation.
- Monitor weekly invoicing KPI and collaborate with FBP on working capital healthcheck through monitoring accrued income and deferred revenue balances movement.
- Lead G/L team to prepare schedule to support external audit and tax filing
- Collaborate with external advisor on statutory account preparation and reconciliation to Group Account.
- Support the development and implementation of financial policies, procedures, and best practices. Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies and regulatory requirements
Technical / Professional Qualifications / Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is preferred.
- Minimum of 12 years of experience, > 8 years in people management role in accounting , financial planning and analysis, preferably within a multinational company.
- Strong leadership skill; lead by example and foster learning culture striving for continuous improvement
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting, and budgeting tools and software. Navision/Dynamic/BPC/SAP/ByD experience is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional and multicultural environment.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
