Role Purpose
The S&C Analyst supports accounting, reporting, and operational finance activities across the Americas region, ensuring timely month-end close, accurate financial information, compliance with internal controls, and effective support to regional stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Support month-end and year-end close activities for multiple entities across the Americas region.
- Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, reclassifications, and reversals.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and open item analysis.
- Support intercompany accounting and reconciliation processes.
- Assist with financial reporting and variance analysis.
- Coordinate with local and regional teams to resolve accounting issues and outstanding items.
- Support audit requests and compliance activities.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, accounting standards, and internal controls.
- Assist in process improvement and standardization initiatives.
Skills & Experience
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Experience in accounting, financial reporting, or shared services environment preferred.
- Knowledge of month-end close and reconciliation processes.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
