Conduct a comprehensive social and labor audit for a large-scale construction project (Cabo Rojo Project, Dominican Republic), aligned with IFC Performance Standard 2 and ILO Forced Labour Indicators.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform end-to-end labor and social audits across the project’s value chain, covering five strategic suppliers.
- Review policies, procedures, contracts, payroll, OHS records, grievance mechanisms, and recruitment practices.
- Conduct on-site inspections of working and living conditions (where applicable).
- Carry out confidential worker interviews and anonymous surveys.
- Identify indicators of forced labor, unsafe working conditions, wage issues, discrimination or harassment.
- Triangulate evidence from documents, interviews, observations, and management discussions.
- Draft and finalize audit reports, including a prioritized Corrective Action Plan (CAP).
