Role Purpose

 

Lead and manage a team for WWI operations within an assigned CFO region, ensuring effective inspection services, technical capabilities, and client satisfaction in line with LRQA strategies and governance.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership & Development:
    Lead, motivate, and inspire a team of Inspection Coordinators to deliver high performance. Provide guidance, identify training needs, and foster a positive culture.
  • Inspection Coordination:
    Manage inspection requests, allocate resources, and ensure prompt, efficient delivery. Coordinate with region sales teams to ensure optimal resource planning for client needs.
  • Subcontractor Management:
    Oversee subcontractor relationships, manage contracts, negotiate costs, and ensure compliance with legal and commercial terms. Monitor supplier performance and initiate contract renewals.
  • Performance Monitoring & Quality Control:
    Track subcontractor performance, review inspection reports for quality, and ensure they meet client expectations. Lead periodic performance reviews and support TQ TL in maintaining service quality.
  • Commercial & Contract Management:
    Negotiate and manage subcontractor contracts, ensuring cost-effective solutions and compliance with LRQA standards. Process subcontractor payments efficiently and in line with SLAs.
  • Client & Project Support:
    Support pre-sales phases by providing resources and competitive budgets. Ensure inspection scope clarity and support project progress meetings. Act as a liaison to resolve customer complaints and implement corrective actions.
  • Compliance & Governance:
    Ensure all processes align with LRQA’s governance, quality standards, and SOPs. Monitor team KPIs and ensure procedural accuracy in all operations.
  • Resource & Risk Management:
    Support project risk mitigation actions, report HSE risks, and maintain resource availability to meet client needs, including working flexible shifts when required.

 

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience: 10+ years in inspection coordination, project management, or similar roles with leadership experience.
  • Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, commercial acumen, and IT proficiency. Ability to lead diverse teams and manage complex projects in the QA/QC, fabrication, and construction industries.
  • Languages: Proficiency in English (additional languages like European or Chinese are a plus).
