Role
We’re looking for a hands-on leader to drive excellence across our Record-to-Report (R2R) operations—owning automation, standardization and improvement of the current processes. If you love process optimisation, change enablement, and making metrics move, this role is for you.
What You’ll Do
Operational Ownership & Stakeholder Management
· Collaborate with stakeholders to identify the opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices
· Join regular governance forums with LRQA and Infosys stakeholders, manage SLA, set up governance and lead
· Drive the change management, own the training and ensure change is correctly implemented
Lead the Transformation
· Revisit the current R2R processes, understand the upstream processes, understand the gaps, prepare plan to improve the process, compare with the Global standards, come up with a solution which has tangible impacts, lead and implement the solution and make it sustainable.
· Ensure that all the processes are documented correctly and stored in a central location.
Improve, Automate, Standardise
· Bring ideas for automation and standardisation to uplift R2R efficiency and control.
· Drive continuous improvement projects; participate in process (re)design, mapping, and monitoring.
· Become the go-to RtR SME across LRQA.
Resolve & De-risk
· Act as the first escalation point for delivery risks/issues and drive timely resolution.
Report What Matters
· Present monthly reconciliation dashboards—completion, review, rejection, approval, open items—and track process performance.
Lead Change & Communicate Clearly
· Own change management for RtR process updates: communicate, train, and support adoption across internal/external stakeholders.
· Keep Infosys aligned with LRQA business changes impacting R2R.
· Share best practices and updates from LRQA Finance strategy and policies.
Collaborate to Win
· Champion the outsourced service model within LRQA and ensure smooth inbound/outbound handoffs with teams like SDS, Sales, and Account Management.
· Support acquisitions, including One LRQA.
· Contribute to ad-hoc projects as required by the Global Controller/GPO.
What You’ll Bring
· Strong experience in Record-to-Report with minimum 10 yrs experieince mainly but not limited to reconciliation, Fixed assets, month end close, revenue recognition, variance analysis, overhead control and intercompany processes.
· Proven track record in delivering transformation with tangible benefits.
· Strong in Domain, well versed with IFRS standards, hands on various R2R tools e.g. SAP, Blackline etc. Proficient in MS excel and other workflow tools
· Fluency in SLAs/KPIs, controls, and performance reporting.
· A continuous improvement mindset—automation, standardisation, and root-cause thinking.
· Confident communicator and trainer; comfortable driving change management across teams and regions.
· Collaborative, outcome-oriented, and proactive with escalations.
Technical Qualifications
Education: CA, MBA (Finance), or a Finance graduate/post‑graduate with a strong academic track record.
Experience: Minimum 10 years of hands‑on expertise in Record‑to‑Report (R2R) processes.
Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel
- Working knowledge of Power BI
- Exposure to BlackLine and other R2R digital tools (advantageous)
- Solid project management capability
Functional Skills:
- Strong finance domain knowledge with good understanding of IFRS
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
