Lead Assessor QSE

Role Purpose:

Verify quality, environmental, and safety management systems independently or as part of an audit team. Act as a technical expert by examining and assessing the implementation of management systems at client sites throughout the country, both onsite and remotely, while supporting continuous improvement and strengthening client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify quality, environmental, and safety management systems independently or as part of a team. • Examine and assess the implementation of management systems at client sites. • Conduct audits and assessments both onsite and remotely. • Act as a subject matter expert in quality, environmental, and safety management systems. • Support clients in improving the effectiveness of their management systems. • Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with clients. • Manage audits involving international customers. • Provide audit team leadership when required. • Contribute to the development and enhancement of LRQA services based on technical expertise. • Address a wide range of technical and managerial challenges across different customer environments.

What You'll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environment, Chemistry, Water Treatment, Energy, Science, or a related discipline. • Minimum of 4 years’ working experience in Industry or Services. • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in quality, environmental, and safety management systems. • Familiarity with monitoring and reviewing local laws and regulations. • Good verbal and written knowledge of French and English (Level C). • Strong analytical skills and proactive attitude. • Ability to manage international customers through a combination of auditing and team leadership. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • High adaptability and responsiveness in a dynamic environment. • IRCA or ICA qualification is appreciated. • Located in Paris, Northern France, Western France, or the Lyon area. • Willingness to travel throughout France. • Ability to achieve 180 chargeable days per year. • Valid Class B driver’s license.
