Lead Assessor QSE
Role Purpose:
Verify quality, environmental, and safety management systems independently or as part of a team. Act as a subject matter expert by assessing the implementation of management systems at client sites both onsite and remotely, supporting system improvement, strengthening client relationships, and contributing to the development of LRQA services through technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
• Verify quality, environmental, and safety management systems independently or as part of an audit team. • Examine and assess the implementation of management systems at client sites across the country. • Conduct audits both onsite and remotely. • Act as a technical expert in quality, environmental, and safety management systems. • Contribute to the improvement of clients’ overall management systems. • Build and strengthen long-term relationships with clients. • Manage audits involving international customers. • Lead audit teams when required. • Contribute to the development of LRQA services based on technical expertise. • Address a variety of technical and management challenges across different industries and client environments.
What You'll Bring:
• Bachelor’s degree in Environment, Chemistry, Energy, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline. • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in industry or services, including climate change requirements such as gas emission calculations and carbon footprint assessments. • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in quality, environmental, and safety management systems. • Familiarity with monitoring and reviewing local laws and regulations. • Good verbal and written knowledge of French and English (Level C). • Strong analytical skills and proactive attitude. • Ability to manage international customers through a combination of auditing and team leadership. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • High level of adaptability and responsiveness. • IRCA or ICA qualification is preferred. • Located in Paris, Northern France, Western France, or the Lyon area. • Willingness to travel throughout France. • Ability to achieve 180 chargeable days per year. • Valid Class B driver’s license
