I am recruiting for food and Health & Safety Auditors in most states across the US, from East to West Coast for exciting new audits in restaurants. 

LRQA are working with an exciting new client in the US and we are looking for auditors that have experience in food safety...

This role is operating as a Self-Employed Contractor covering work as an Auditor for the specific work and you need to be based in the USA.

The role is responsible for delivering Restaurant Food Safety audits for the Global Retail and Hospitality Division of LRQA.

You will deliver high quality audits that meet the needs of customers’ specific requirements in an efficient and professional manner.

The role specific requirements are:

• A qualification in Food Safety or HACCP
• A qualification and experience in Health & Safety - if applying for that role
• Ideally HACCP Qualification - Successful completion of intermediate accredited training in HACCP based on Codex Alimentarius (of at least 2 days’ duration)
• Knowledge of Food Safety Adudits, specificallt in restarants but will consider other operations, such as bars etc.
• 2 Years of Audit experiance
• Food Industry Knowledge and knowledge in category
• Auditor Qualification Applicable to Scheme (for example, Internal auditing/Lead Assessors)
• Excellent Communication and Organisational Skills
• Excellent and concise report writing, be able to report concise and clearly
• Knowledge of industry Food Legislation
• Ability to work independently and maintain accurate records, excellent attention to detail
• IT and MS Literate as all audits on on a digital system.
• Own Transport 

This is 2nd Party Food Safety  and 2nd Party Health & Safety Audit work, it is not Certification work as the Retail & Hospitality Division focus on legal food safety and Health & Safety requirements and not Certification Standards.
