Role purpose

The Content and Communications Manager will lead EiQ’s global content and communications strategy. This role is responsible for building EiQ’s brand voice, managing external and internal marketing & communications and positioning EiQ as a thought leader in supply chain risk intelligence, automated responsible sourcing and AI innovation.  The Content and Communications Manager is responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies that align with the organisation's goals, coordinating with media and partnerships, overseeing internal and external communications, and shaping EiQ’s content and thought leadership to establish its place in the market.

Core responsibilities

  • Thought leadership & content development
    • Develop articles, op‑eds, and reports that highlight EiQ’s insights on global sourcing risks.
    • Collaborate with analysts to translate data into compelling narratives for external audiences.
    • Ensure messaging consistency across reports, blogs, and social channels.
    • Lead the creation of high‑impact content (reports, blogs, webinars, whitepapers).
    • Support executives with speeches, presentations, and keynote materials.
    • Oversee EiQ’s digital presence, including social media strategy and online reputation.
  • Brand & messaging
    • Define and refine EiQ’s brand narrative across all channels.
    • Ensure consistency of messaging in marketing, product launches, and executive communications.
  • Stakeholder & partner communications
  • Support external events, conferences, and webinars with messaging.
  • Manage communications with industry partners and develop announcement materials and joint thought leadership content.
  • Manage communications with trade associations, NGOs and policy bodies.

  • Build and maintain relationships with journalists and industry publications.
  • Draft press releases, media statements, and responses to inquiries.
  • Coordinate interviews, briefings, and media opportunities for executives when relevant.
  • Reputation & issues management (when relevant)
    • Monitor external coverage and sentiment around EiQ and the wider industry.
    • Prepare crisis communication plans for sensitive topics (e.g., labor violations, regulatory probes).
    • Advise leadership on reputational risks and communication strategies.
  • Internal communications
    • Partner with leadership to drive employee engagement and alignment.
    • Create clear, inspiring communications that connect teams to EiQ’s mission.

 

 

Key skills and qualifications

  • 10-12+ years of experience in commercial marketing & communications environments.
  • Strong writing and storytelling ability, especially on complex topics.
  • Analytical mindset to interpret EiQ’s risk intelligence data and craft narratives.
  • Strategic thinker with experience in global communications and cross‑cultural contexts.
  • Desirable:
    • Media savvy with good knowledge of PR approaches and tactics.
    • Ability to manage sensitive reputational issues.

  • Media mentions: positive mentions in trade press, ESG publications or mainstream media.
