Lead Assessor - Nuclear (ISO 19443)
 

Role Purpose:

Verify management systems in the nuclear standard (ISO 19443) by conducting assessments independently or as part of a team, examining and assessing the implementation of management systems at client sites both onsite and remotely, contributing to the improvement of overall systems, strengthening client relationships, and supporting the development of LRQA's services based on technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify management systems in the nuclear standard (ISO 19443) independently or as part of a team. • Examine and assess the implementation of management systems at client sites both onsite and remotely. • Contribute to the improvement of clients' overall management systems. • Build, broaden, and deepen relationships with clients. • Act as a technical expert during assessments and audits. • Support the development of LRQA's services based on subject matter expertise. • Conduct audits and assessments across multiple client locations. • Lead audit teams and manage interactions with international customers. • Address technical and management challenges encountered during audit activities.

What You'll Bring:

• Master degree (or equivalent) in engineering (e.g. electrical, electronic, mechanical), mathematics, physics, civil works, or quality management. • Minimum of 2 years’ working experience with the nuclear industry, mainly in mechanical, pressure equipment, control and command systems, electrical products, inspection, or construction/civil works. • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in quality management systems in industry. • IRCA or ICA qualification. • Experience with nuclear third-party assessments, including second-party assessments. • Familiarity with monitoring and review of local law and nuclear regulations. • Good verbal and written knowledge of the French and English language (level C). • Analytic insight and proactive attitude. • Ability to manage international customers with a mix of audits and team leadership. • Strong communication and social skills. • Ability to adapt quickly with a high level of reactivity. • Located in Paris, Northern France, or the Lyon area. • Willingness to travel within France. • Ability to achieve 180 chargeable days per year. • Valid Class B driver's license.
