Role Purpose

To lead, inspire and motivate the Business Assurance team across the APAC region to proactively manage their client portfolio and to generate and deliver new and existing business through the promotion of LRQA’s products and services and excellent service delivery.

This role will be required to:

  • Act as a member of the Leadership Team to influence decision making and to contribute with the development and achievement of strategic targets that will support the overall growth and development of the business. 
  • Lead and manage teams within region of responsibility in line with agreed strategies and budgets to achieve commercial and operational targets. / Create and influence the strategic plans to meet the current and emerging needs of the business.
  • Play a critical role to design and deliver our accelerated growth strategy. Working with local business leaders you will set out the growth strategy and underpinning investment plan to drive the business forward to achieve its growth targets within the APAC market.

 

Job Responsibilities/Requirements

  • Set the business strategy for the region aligned to the global business assurance and LRQA strategy/ regional growth goals, to deliver on our commercial ambition.
  • Lead the P&L for the region and set, monitor and report on financial and non-financial performance against agreed budgets in line with local and global targets, strategies and timelines, reporting on financial anomalies in line with agreed procedures.
  • Monitor industry drivers, products, markets and competitors and analyse their impact on our value proposition and to inform the development and focus areas to accelerate our growth
  • Use internal and external intelligence to grow LRQA’s reputation and develop relationships with key political and sector contacts.
  • Identify and present opportunities to strengthen our market share through merger, acquisition and/or joint venture activity. Working with the Corporate Development Director to create and then implement the regional M&A plan
  • Lead and develop the regional management team to build capability and deliver a positive employee experience; via engagement, performance management and talent management, to meet strategic and business objectives.
  • Work with the Global HRBP for Business Assurance to drive and create robust people plans, to build and sustain a high-performance culture
  • Drive effective resource planning, to achieve cost effective and efficient service delivery in line with strategic plans. 
  • Drive a culture of quality and business improvement by ensuring that structures, systems, processes and procedures are co-ordinated effectively and efficiently to meet LRQA
  • Commercial requirements whilst improving EBITDA margin.
  • Represent LRQA in industry forums and other external activities to position us as a partner of choice.
  • Undertake client visits as appropriate to support major bids and to build and maintain strong working relationships with key clients. Lead the resolution of complaints in line with LRQA procedures.
  • Monitor internal processes to ensure the delivery of agreed business results, making improvements where required.
  • Partner with peers, central and local support functions to ensure agreed service levels are delivered to support Business Assurance overall performance.
  • Manage own and team's compliance with health and safety rules, instructions, systems and legal requirements, ensuring employees are suitably trained and adequate resources are available to work safely.
