Seafood Auditor - Scotland

Join LRQA's growing Seafood team and play a key role in supporting the sustainability, safety and integrity of the global seafood supply chain. Based in Scotland, you will conduct audits against a range of seafood, aquaculture and food safety standards across salmon farming, seafood processing, fisheries and supply chain operations.

The ideal candidate will have experience within the seafood, aquaculture, fisheries or food manufacturing sectors, strong communication skills, and a passion for helping businesses improve performance and meet internationally recognised standards. Auditor qualifications are desirable but not essential, as training can be provided for the right candidate.

What you'll do

• Deliver audits across Scotland and occasionally internationally
• Assess compliance against seafood, aquaculture and food assurance standards
• Build trusted relationships with clients
• Produce clear and professional audit reports
• Support the growth of LRQA's market-leading Seafood Assurance business

What we're looking for

• Experience within seafood, aquaculture, fisheries, food manufacturing or related industries
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Willingness to travel throughout Scotland
• Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline, ideally qualified for seafood schemes.
• Existing auditing experience advantageous but not essential

Location: Scotland (ideally Inverness or Highlands region)
Travel: Regular travel throughout Scotland and the UK as required.
