Role Overview

As the Learning Technology Specialist, you will own the technical infrastructure for the Learning Hub, ensuring that the LMS/LXP meets the needs of the business, the learner journey is colleagues focused, simple and intuitive.  As a key enabler to the success of learning that supports a performance driven culture you will look at how best we can maximise our return on investment for learning systems and 3rd party learning content providers.  As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in working with internal and external stakeholders and peers to understand the performance needs aligned to strategic priorities and then create bespoke learning technology solutions that match those requirements. 

This role is based in India with hybrid or home-based working.   

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the existing learning hub technology, including working with our learning content partnerships to optimise our learning offering to our colleagues.
• Ensure the learning hub solutions are simple for learners to navigate, from researching appropriate interventions and resources to booking courses and completing feedback.  Acting as first point of contact for technical requests and solutions.
• Support the addition of new courses and curricula to include assuring the quality of content by testing materials and ensuring courses / resources work how they should.
• Manage the reporting infrastructure, dashboards and analytics to enable true insight to be gained from the data that is stored and held in the LMS/learning platform, ensuring that reports are automated and meet the needs of stakeholders. (compliance, regulatory, etc) so that they can make informed data-based decisions
• Embrace new technologies, including AI and other digital disruptions, contributing to the evolving landscape of learning and development.
• Upskill peers and colleagues – where required with administrator or permission user knowledge, so they are adequately skilled to carry out their roles in relation to using our learning technologies.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and within a collaborative team environment.
• Ensure mechanisms are in place that gather and report colleagues feedback, progress and improved service recommendations on our learning solutions.

Technical Qualifications

• Expertise in learning technology (LMS, LXP, 3rd party content platforms).
• Minimum 2-4 years’ experience in a learning technology / administrator role.
• SAP Success Factors – LMS/LXP and 3rd party content partnerships are desirable.
• Fluent in the English language, both written and verbal in a global organisation.
• Ability to manage simultaneous learning projects and requests efficiently.
• Verbal and written communication skills to manage internal and external stakeholder interactions, including 3rd party learning content providers.
