Role Overview:

As the Learning Technology Specialist, you will own the technical infrastructure for the Learning Hub, ensuring that the LMS/LXP meets the needs of the business, the learner journey is colleagues focused, simple and intuitive.  As a key enabler to the success of learning that supports a performance driven culture you will look at how best we can maximise our return on investment for learning systems and 3rd party learning content providers.  As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in working with internal and external stakeholders and peers to understand the performance needs aligned to strategic priorities and then create bespoke learning technology solutions that match those requirements. 

This role is based in India with hybrid or home-based working.   

We are actively seeking an experienced Learning Designer to join our People Development Team. This role offers a opportunity for a creative and versatile professional to contribute to the design and development of diverse learning materials. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in working with stakeholders and peers to understand the performance needs aligned to strategic priorities and then create bespoke learning solutions that match those requirements.  This role is based in India with hybrid or home based working.   

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders (subject matter experts and peers) to understand the needs for mandatory and bespoke learning solutions for our and internal colleagues.
• Conduct thorough needs analyses, articulate precise learning objectives, and meticulously outline new projects by creating both detailed-level and high-level design plans.
• Develop a wide range of learning solutions, virtual instructor-led training (VILT) courses, blended learning programs, eLearning modules, video tutorials, microlearning and PDFs.
• Work closely with our Learning Consultant, Learning Advisor and Learning Technologist to ensure all content is created within brand guidelines and formatted for use on our LMS / SharePoint / MS Teams.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and within a collaborative team environment.
• Embrace new technologies, including AI and other digital disruptions, contributing to the evolving landscape of learning and development.
• Make recommendations for enhancing existing courseware and refining design processes.

Technical Qualifications

• Expertise in digital design tools, which maybe; Articulate Storyline, Rise 360, Synthesia, Adobe, Microsoft applications.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in blended learning design.
• Fluent in the English language, both written and verbal in a global organisation.
• Use of any language translation tools is desirable.
• Ability to manage simultaneous learning projects and requests efficiently.
• Verbal and written communication skills to manage stakeholder interactions.
• Capability to conduct learning needs assessments and evaluate learning effectiveness.
