We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Senior Responsible Sourcing Auditor to conduct social compliance, labor, health & safety, environmental, and ethical audits across various industries. The successful candidate will lead audit activities, manage client relationships, mentor junior auditors, and ensure audit delivery complies with international standards and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Audit Execution
- Lead and conduct social compliance and responsible sourcing audits in accordance with client protocols and international standards.
- Perform document reviews, worker interviews, management interviews, and facility inspections.
- Evaluate compliance with labor laws, human rights requirements, occupational health & safety regulations, and environmental requirements.
- Identify non-conformities and prepare accurate audit findings and reports.
- Ensure audit reports are completed and submitted within required timelines.
Technical Expertise
- Conduct audits against recognized standards and programs, including:
- SMETA
- WRAP
- SLCP
- RBA VAP
- Customer-specific Codes of Conduct
- Provide technical guidance on labor rights, ethical recruitment, working hours, wages & benefits, occupational safety, and management systems.
- Support factories in understanding compliance requirements and audit expectations.
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Maintain professional relationships with clients and audited facilities.
- Participate in audit planning, scheduling, and coordination activities.
- Support business development initiatives through technical expertise and client engagement.
- Participate in witness audits and accreditation activities as required.
Team Development
- Mentor and coach junior auditors.
- Share regulatory updates and best practices with the audit team.
- Participate in internal calibration sessions and auditor competency development programs.
Qualifications
Mandatory Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Human Resources, Law, Social Sciences, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
- Valid Certified Social Compliance Auditor (CSCA) certification.
- Minimum 5 years of experience conducting social compliance or responsible sourcing audits.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Labor laws and regulations
- Occupational Health & Safety requirements
- Social compliance management systems
- Ethical sourcing principles
- Excellent report writing and interviewing skills.
- Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken).
- Willingness to travel extensively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Qualified or experienced in SLCP assessments.
- Qualified or experienced in RBA VAP audits.
- Experience conducting SMETA, WRAP, ICTI, Higg FSLM or equivalent social compliance audits.
- APSCA Registered Auditor status.
- Lead Auditor qualification (ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001 or similar) is an advantage.
- Experience auditing factories in electronics, garment, footwear, manufacturing, or consumer goods sectors.

Location

Key Requirement: Valid CSCA certification is mandatory. Experience with SLCP and RBA VAP audits will be given strong preference during candidate selection.
