LRQA offers an entry position for a graduate with first professional experience. The incumbent will gradually build up experience in the development, coordination, and execution of sustainability advisory projects and support clients in implementing sustainable solution along the value chain. This position is ideal for a self-starter personality, willing to develop into the position of a sustainability consultant.

You will be part of the LRQA global Advisory team and you will report into LRQA Advisory EMEA. You will be supported by our global network and make use of our exclusive EiQ data. In this position, we support you to gradually take more and more responsibility and to work with and learn from your colleagues around the globe.

Responsibilities

  • Research and data analysis to facilitate Sustainability Advisory projects like adverse human rights impact assessments, double materiality assessments, as well as responsible sourcing
  • Actively supporting our consultants on client’s projects by drafting offers, concepts, analysis, reports and presentations
  • Support data management and quality assurance – also using our own EIQ tool
  • Support internal knowledge management and product development by preparation of case studies, best practice examples and internal communication.
  • Take growing responsibility in a transnational, highly engaged team of sustainability consultants

Qualifications

  • Master's degree, preferably in the field of environmental or social sciences, business administration, or economics, with a focus on sustainability
  • First professional experience, advantageous in the development of human rights risk management systems, responsible sourcing practices or double materiality assessments
  • Good knowledge of sustainability, especially in the areas of human rights, responsible sourcing, communication, as well as relevant regulation (LkSG, CSDDD, CSRD, EUDR, …) and standards (UNGPs, OECD Guidelines, …)
  • Quick comprehension and ability to communicate complex issues in an understandable way
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in German and English and preferably another language like French
  • Creative and entrepreneurial personality with a flair for developing concepts, reports and graphical representations
  • Good organisational skills and project management
  • Very good command of MS Office products (especially PPT and Excel)
  • Open, team-oriented, communicative, and service-oriented personality
