We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior DA Surveyor to assess the design, manufacturing, and in-service performance of engineering assets. This role involves applying relevant Codes, Standards, specifications, and procedures to complex and demanding engineering situations. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of engineering principles, combined with hands-on experience in evaluating and ensuring the integrity of assets throughout their lifecycle. In addition to technical expertise, this position may also include project management responsibilities, where you'll be expected to lead and oversee various projects to ensure their successful delivery.

 

Location: This is a remote position, open to candidates based anywhere in Spain.

 

How will you make an impact?

  • Review technical files of static equipment’s (pressure vessels, piping, assemblies) in accordance with international standards: ASME VIII Div 1, ASME I, ISO13445, AD, ....
  • Produce deliverables (Reports, Design Appraisal documents, CRS....) within the agreed parameters in an appropriate format and take responsibility to review and monitor other employees' work as requested.
  • Discuss/present the deliverable with internal/external client at a senior level and be able to suggest alternative solutions where appropriate.
  • Pursue Continuing Professional Development and maintain a high degree of discipline knowledge and awareness.
  • Coach, mentor and develop technically other employees, as appropriate and share information to achieve effective knowledge transfer and application

 

What will you bring

  • Shall possess a relevant bachelor's degree from a recognised university (Mechanical engineer or equivalent).
  • Shall possess sufficient relevant previous working experience to demonstrate comprehensive understanding of the relevant specialist requirements, knowledge and application. Likely to have 6-10 years relevant working experience.
  • In depth knowledge of design and construction of pressure equipment/cranes/containers (as appropriate)
  • Proficiency in the use of FEA and calculation software
  • Proficiency in English language commensurate with the work (both written and verbal)
