Role Purpose

This Manager, Program Management will support key LRQA customer(s) and will develop relationships with the client, vendors and factories globally and drive social compliance and sustainability initiatives with data-driven insight sharing. He/She will work in partnership with the Senior Manager and other LRQA Account Managers, to meet beyond customer expectations and execute against our SOW obligations. The position will help to represent the customer externally with global supply chain and service providers and internally with LRQA delivery teams. He/She will report directly to the Senior Manager, Program Management and to the Customer for whose program LRQA has management responsibility.

 

Key job responsibilities:

A dynamic and instinctive individual to contribute to a clients’ program and needs. For Program Management role, on one hand, is responsible for executing, managing and supporting the customer’s ESG risk monitoring program to ensure the client factory program support is executed against expected timelines, monitoring and reporting risk assessment (social or environmental) program performance of their supply chain, communicating directly with suppliers  and working closely with the client’s program leader to shape the program. On the other hand, the person will be managing and mantain client's program social or environmental data to create a accurate and insightful reporting on reflecting its program progress.

 

The 2 key responsibilities include the following:

 

Program Management

  • Act as the expert on specific client(s) ethical sourcing requirements, support the regional monitoring program (such as Higg FEM execution) externally, including providing clear guidance for suppliers, responding to inquiries, regularly calibrating terms, and maintaining updated systems and documents.
  • Plan, communicate and continuously monitor execution of the assigned program ensuring activities coordination per targeted timeline, or other risk interventions as required and following escalation procedures/reporting as appropriate.
  • Support the supply chain carbon footprint calculation and integrate the findings into the corresponsing client's tool or system.
  • Identify areas for improvement and work with customer’s supply chain to drive positive impact & continuous improvement for its Environmental Sustainability roadmap and provide necessary recommendation/best practice to enable their suppliers to meet client's standards and expectations
  • Keep systems and trackers up to date, accurate and available to customer on a regular basis
  • Master client’s program data for risk segmentation, performance scoring model and KPI enhancement
  • Maintain and make translation for client's guidance, standard operating procedures and instructions to clearly document working progress, to meet client expectations and SOW obligations.
  • Perform onsite engagement visits to evaluate progress, provide guidance and stregthen the relationship and engagement with client's factories/suppliers.
     

Data Analysis and Reporting

  • Leverage customers’ supply chain data and/or with LRQA/client data platform to create reports /data visualizations and guide client's decision-making 
  • Understand each clients’ program risk identification mechanisms and optimizing relevant reporting models
  • Build reports for on behalf of select customers. Reporting includes supplier performance in environmental initiatives (such as Carbon emission reduction Or water usage initiatives etc) or other supply chain risk exposure management
  • Develop a insightful reporting on reflecting the program progress and performance via Excel or PowerBI
  • Proactively identify data-correlations and help interpret and analyse for our customers
  • Drive data integrity including identifying and acquiring missing information or gaps
  • Strong focus on data collection, business process analysis, and data presentation with Microsoft office, PowerBI and other relevant tools
  • Respond promptly, accurately and efficiently to data reporting requests and questions

 

Qualifications

  • Excellent written and verbal English and Chinese;
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Strong in data analysis, visualization, and communication with 5+ years of years' relevant working experience, preferably in Sustainability/ Ethical / Risk Compliance/Responsible Sourcing/ESG Team in brands, agent/ trading office or manufacturing Industry
  • Detail-oriented/relentless, willing to find cracks in the systems to expose problems and identify risks
  • Proficient in data visualization and AI systems such as PowerBI, Advanced Excel, other AI tools are preferred.
  • Strong understanding in supply chain ecosystem, ethical sourcing and Sustainability initiatives 
  • Strong communication skills, and ability to work with multiple stakeholders in data translation to commonly used languages
  • Highly proficient in transforming large supply chain data into reports and automation
  • Can work under pressure, results oriented, self-motivated, responsive, and detail-minded and work with people in different time zones
  • Ability to work independently with level of integrity
  • Willing to travel frequently in Great China for onsite activities
