We are looking for an experienced Server and Network Engineer, specialising in Cyber Security Infrastructure, to join our network team.This role is primarily focused on the support, maintenance, and operational stability of our Cyber business's infrastructure.The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience with designing, implementing and maintaining secure network environments and technologies, to acknowledged security standards.

They will be able to identify, remediate and respond to vulnerabilities and alerts, across the environment.
The role requires extensive knowledge of administering and securing firewalls, load balancers, pentesting solutions, SIEM solutions and cloud networking environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 3rd line support for enterprise network issues, ensuring minimal downtime and high availability.
Maintain and optimize network infrastructure, including Cisco, Meraki, FortiNet technologies.
Administer and troubleshoot Palo Alto firewalls and Panorama.
Administer and troubleshoot Zscaler ZIA/ZPA for secure internet and remote access.
Support cloud network environments with a focus on Microsoft Azure, including VNets, ExpressRoute, VPNs, and security groups.
Manage and support Cisco Meraki wireless, switching, and security appliances.
Work closely with 1st/2nd line teams to escalate and resolve network incidents.
Contribute to low-level design and documentation for new solutions and improvements to existing infrastructure.
Monitor and tune network performance, using tools and monitoring systems.
Ensure all changes are documented and follow the internal change management process.
Participate in on-call rotations and provide out-of-hours support when required.

Skills & Experience Required:

Proven experience in a 3rd line network support role within a medium to large enterprise.
Strong knowledge of Cisco routing and switching, including hands-on work with Catalyst 9000 series, ASA, and Firepower.
Solid experience supporting Palo Alto firewalls in a production environment.
Working knowledge of Zscaler ZIA and ZPA.
Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure networking, including hybrid connectivity setups.
Experience managing Cisco Meraki infrastructure.
Good understanding of networking protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, VPN, NAT, ACLs).
Ability to work independently and handle high-pressure situations with calm and professionalism.
Excellent documentation and communication skills.

Desirable Certifications (Nice to Have)

Cisco certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP or equivalent experience)
Palo Alto PCNSE
Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate
Zscaler certifications (ZCCP or equivalent)
