Role Purpose

We are seeking a highly motivated and organised individual to join our Client Success Team as a Sales Operations Manager.

 

The Sales Operations Manager plays a crucial role in our organisation, ensuring the smooth operation and optimisation of our sales processes and customer satisfaction.

 

The Sales Operations Manager will assist with streamlining and refining existing processes to drive the business towards its objectives. You will maintain and deliver key sales data and activities and will be accountable for ensuring all sales processes are followed and a strong business rhythm is maintained at all times within the Sales, Finance and Resource Scheduling teams.

Key Responsibilities:

•              Pro-actively work with other colleagues in the sales, finance and Resource Management functions across the business to manage, avoid and resolve key issues

•              Implement key initiatives to drive efficiency and quality

•              Adopt a ‘no surprises’ approach to reporting and communication with Senior Managers and be prepared to challenge the norm in a constructive and proactive manner

•              Collaborate with sales leadership to establish performance standards and goals for the sales / Account Management teams.

•              Ensure timely completion of all verifications and reporting in compliance with the outlined processes.

•              Ensure governance and accuracy of the data and sales funnel within CRM system

•              Contribute to the development and implementation of sales performance metrics and KPIs aligned with business and strategic objectives.

•              Monitor and report on actual performance against forecasts.

•              With support from the Business Intelligence team, monitor and evaluate individual and team performance against targets, providing analysis and insights.

•              Collect, analyse, and interpret sales data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.

•              Work closely with the sales team to gather input for accurate sales forecasting

•              Provide insights and recommendations to drive sales strategy and resource allocation.

•              Work closely with the Head of Resource Management to ensure a seamless handover into the Finace and Scheduling teams

•              Review and maintain sales dashboards, reports, and presentations to communicate performance to senior leadership.

•              Responsible for other adhoc admin activities related to sales growth as directed

 

The following are desirable but not a requirement for the role:

•              Proven experience as a Sales Operations Manager or similar role.

•              Written and verbal communication skills to drive internal and external relationships

•              Excellent understanding of sales processes and a track record of process optimisation.

•              Commercial Awareness

•              Data-driven decision-maker

•              Exceptional planning and organising skills

•              Sales team reporting and planning is essential for this role

•              Can demonstrate use of analytical skills, process improvement and implementation
