We are looking for a Regional Marketing Manager who is results oriented, proactive, flexible and enthusiastic about leading a best-in-class marketing team that crosses international boundaries.  If you have experience with working with strategic and product marketing, as well as sales and operations teams to drive growth, pricing, campaigns, demand generation and increased brand awareness, we would like to hear from you.  It is imperative that you have a strong attention to detail and solid communications skills.  If you have experience working with a marketing team to help implement, measure and continually improve growth-driven marketing plans, you may be the rigth person for this position.

 

The Regional Marketing Manager is responsible for: 

  • Building the marketing strategy and plan for their geographical  area, in alignment with sales and operations strategies and plans
  • Leading the marketing team to ensure alignment, implementation and the execution of the growth-driven marketing plans and campaigns for LRQA across the UK&I
  • Developing, performance evaluation and continual optimisation of marketing plans and campaigns to reach the right clients at the right time, resulting in lead generation, cross and upsell opportunities, and increased brand awareness, consideration, advocacy and loyalty.
  • Build strong peer to peer relationships across multiple teams, to ensure that pricing, product mix and sales and marketing targets to achieve LRQA’s revenue, margin and market share in their area.  
  • Develop and follow best practice frameworks and insights to drive effective and efficient growth   

 

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Lead the marketing team in UK&I, responsible for executing best in class marketing campaigns, and meeting lead gen, ROMI, brand awareness and other performance targets 
  • Work with the  global marketing team and multiple are stakeholders to evolve the marketing (and sales) strategy for their area
  • Identify and establish third party relationships (creative agencies, channel partners etc) that will enable the team to accelerate the marketing strategy, or work smarter (or both)
  • Influence and steer the extended marketing leadership team to ensure that their area views and knowledge shapes the wider strategy,
  • Forecast and manage area marketing budget, lead targets and campaign channel performance and ensure reportable marketing ROI and results
  • In line with the global strategy and global marketing plans, develop, ensure that the team  manages and executes area marketing plans and targeted campaigns to increase generate leads within targeted product and service categories and deliver Account Based Marketing plans for growth to budget.
  • In line with global marketing plans, budgets, performance plans and strategies, ensure marketing campaigns support a consistent LRQA brand look and feel globally and across their geographic area of responsibility
  • Ensure marketing plans and campaigns utilise centrally developed and/or approved marketing content in line with LRQA Brand & Communications team guidance, and are developed using best practice frameworks and optimises tools such as Salesforce and Pardot, client segmentation and multiple marketing channels, including website, social media, email marketing, events, online advertising, retargeting, search engine optimization, search engine marketing, content localization, PR, etc
  • Support increased LRQA brand awareness, thought leadership, subject matter expertise, consultant and key industry association/stakeholder relationships/partnerships by supporting the implementation of defined LRQA PR strategies.  
  • Ensure area marketing campaigns utilise appropriate client value propositions and client/prospect segmentation practices to maximise campaign engagement, effectiveness, brand awareness and lead generation – from transactional campaigns to strategic and global campaigns and Account Based Marketing approaches.
  • Develop and support marketing plan outcomes by working effectively with other marketing, sales and training team members, bought in services/agencies and other internal and external interfaces to ensure timely and financially effective delivery
  • Working with Global Marketing Campaign Manager, ensure the ability to provide monthly reports on area marketing campaign effectiveness and engagement in order improve lead generation, market brand and positioning
  • As a member of the global marketing team, provide information, recommendations and innovative ideas for marketing channels, tactics, and tools, ensuring they are relevant, complete, efficient and workable
  • Monitor and provide benchmarking and market feedback on competitor activities and performance
  • Lead area marketing team to coach and develop team members to reach their full potential

 

Technical / Professional Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Degree level education in a marketing discipline with at least 8 years of B2B marketing and campaign management and execution experience or equivalent years’ experience in a similar B2B marketing role. 
  • Experience working within the Assurance Sector is an advantage, not mandatory    
  • A proven team leader with strong influencing skills; able to delegate and push back
  • Strong communication skills, with an ability to present material in a way which is appropriate to the level of knowledge of the audience.  Ability to read, write, speak and communicate in English and local language.
  • Experience of transactional and account based marketing (and sales) ideally in a B to B and/or professional services environment.  
  • Experience in providing marketing campaign and channel execution and support to meet sales targets
  • Adaptable and well organised with a practical minded approach and the ability to work on multiple tasks and to tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of applicable IT and digital technologies.  Knowledge of Salesforce, Pardot, Microsoft Dynamics, Google Analytics, Hootsuite, SEMRush and/or similar marketing and sales systems required.
  • A proactive approach to problem solving, seeking management input, advice and direction when needed, with good communication skills
  • Ability to plans and prioritise workload to deliver results effectively and efficiently.
  • Experience in a regional and global team environment.  
  • Result oriented, proactive, flexible and enthusiastic team player with a “can do” attitude.
  • Self-motivated, passionate and an optimist who is a resilient and calm in various situations.
  • Experience analysing campaign results, data, preparing reports and making recommendations for campaign improvements.
