Role Purpose

As part of the Digital Marketing team, the Digital Marketing Specialist would support the coordination and execution of digital marketing activities across channels, using a combination of tools, to help drive growth in line with the global strategy.  

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and update digital marketing channels, as well as work with regional marketing teams and agencies to optimise performance for websites, social media, search engine optimization, search engine marketing, marketing automation platform and interactive marketing tools.
  • Contribute to the execution of targeted campaigns to drive pipeline and revenue growth, increase LRQA brand awareness and generate leads within key product and service categories.
  • Ensure all digital marketing campaigns utilise centrally developed and/or approved marketing content, appropriate client value propositions and client/prospect segmentation practices to maximise campaign effectiveness to support a consistent LRQA brand look and feel globally and across the areas.
  • Collaborate with other marketing, sales and training team members, agencies and other internal and external interfaces to ensure timely and efficient campaign delivery.
  • Use Salesforce, Pardot, Google Analytics, SEMRush, Mouseflow, Social media analytics and other tools to provide reporting on marketing plans and campaign effectiveness, market positioning, product mix and client feedback, enabling the team, to continually review and improve our digital marketing strategy.
  • Serve as global support to the area digital marketing experts and go-to resource for questions from the marketing community. Be an expert in our specific processes on digital tools such as Episerver, SEMRush, Trello, Pardot and Google Analytics.
  • Working with the Global Digital Marketing Manager, provide information, recommendations and innovative ideas for new digital marketing channels, tactics, and tools, ensuring they are relevant, efficient and realistic.  

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Degree level education in a marketing discipline with at least 3 years of B2B digital marketing and campaign management experience or equivalent years’ experience in a similar B2B marketing role, ideally within the Certification, Testing Inspection and Compliance (TIC) and/or Professional Assurance Services sector.   
  • Experience in website content management, UX/website design and conversion optimisation – ideally previous experience in website enhancement to drive lead generation.
  • Experience in Social media marketing, SEO and SEA to drive customer acquisition and increase brand awareness, as well as the ability to analyse campaign results, data, preparing reports and making recommendations for campaign improvements.
  • Knowledge of applicable IT and digital technologies.  Knowledge of Episerver CMS, Salesforce, Pardot, Google Analytics, Hootsuite, SEMRush, Hubspot, MSDyanmics and/or similar marketing and sales systems required.
  • Strong communication skills, with an ability to present material in a way which is appropriate to the level of knowledge of the audience.  Ability to read, write, speak and communicate in English.
  • Adaptable and well organised with a practical minded approach and the ability to plan and prioritise workload to deliver results effectively and efficiently in tight deadlines.
  • A proactive approach to problem solving, seeking management input, advice and direction when needed.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a regional and global team, with the ability to travel (occasionally) locally and globally, where needed.
