Food Safety Auditor (Contractor) - Germany (You must live in Germany for this work)

LRQA is expanding its network of qualified Food Safety Auditors across Germany to support a growing portfolio of international restaurant and food service clients.

We are seeking experienced auditors who can conduct food safety assessments within quick service restaurant, retail food, and hospitality environments. Immediate work is available, with comprehensive client and programme-specific training provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct food safety audits and assessments at restaurant and food service locations.
• Evaluate compliance against client standards, food safety requirements, and operational procedures.
• Complete audit reports within required timeframes.
• Maintain professional relationships with client site teams.
• Support continuous improvement through objective audit findings and recommendations.

Requirements

• Recognised food safety auditing qualification.
• Experience auditing food manufacturing, catering, restaurant, retail food, or hospitality operations.
• Strong understanding of HACCP and food safety management systems.
• Excellent report writing and communication skills.
• Ability to travel within assigned regions.
• Fluent German and good English language skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Lead Auditor qualification.
• Experience auditing restaurant, QSR, or retail food operations.
• Knowledge of international food safety standards such as BRCGS, FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, or equivalent.
