Key job responsibilities:
A dynamic and instinctive individual to contribute to clients’ program(s) and evolving business needs. The Assistant Program Manager under Program Management is responsible for executing, managing and supporting customers’ risk monitoring programs to ensure assessment and risk intervention plans are delivered against expected timelines and evaluation standards.
The role monitors and reports compliance, ESG/Human Rights Due Diligence, Responsible Sourcing and Supply Chain Corporate Social Responsibility performance across global supply chains; communicates with global and regional suppliers; and works closely with clients’ leaders to shape and strengthen program delivery. In addition, the role supports internal service quality assurance across multiple accounts of similar business nature, such as retail, technology and apparel brands, while also contributing to program reporting, billing coordination, renewal support and internal financial administrative operations.
The 3 key responsibilities include the following:
Program Management, Service Quality Assurance and People Oversight
- Apply relevant market experience and understanding of client ethical sourcing requirements to support regional risk monitoring programs, including supplier guidance, assessment activities management, risk calibration, and maintenance of updated systems and documentation.
- Plan, communicate and monitor the execution of COC and due diligence monitoring programs to ensure activities are completed within target timelines and escalated appropriately when required.
- Review audits and risk interventions, with focus on high-risk or repeated findings, critical issues, missing special elements and overall delivery quality across assigned programs.
- Oversee service quality assurance across multiple accounts of similar business nature, such as retail, technology and apparel brands, by monitoring delivery consistency, client requirements, reporting outputs and issue resolution.
- Guide and monitor program team members supporting different accounts to ensure timely follow-up, accurate execution, consistent delivery quality and alignment with client expectations and internal standards.
Financial Administration, Billing and Contract Support
- Support internal service financial administration, including billing setup, COP coordination, purchase order tracking, invoice readiness and related operational follow-up.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure billing information, contractual updates, renewal status and account documentation are accurate, timely and aligned with agreed commercial arrangements.
- Maintain visibility of account-level service scope, renewal timelines and administrative requirements to support smooth program continuity and effective client servicing.
- Support contract renewal and service update processes by preparing relevant inputs, tracking required actions and coordinating follow-up with internal commercial, finance and delivery teams.
- Help identify administrative gaps or billing-related risks and escalate issues promptly to improve operational accuracy, accountability and service continuity.
Data Analysis and Reporting
- Understand client-specific program risk identification mechanisms and optimize relevant reporting models to support program monitoring and decision-making.
- Leverage customers’ supply chain data, LRQA Power BI and EiQ Data Platform to create customized reports, dashboards and data visualizations for internal and client use.
- Build and maintain reports for selected customers covering supplier performance, operational KPIs, supply chain risk exposure, mitigation progress and programmatic recommendations.
- Drive data integrity by identifying missing information, data gaps and opportunities to improve reporting accuracy and process efficiency.
- Work closely with EiQ and other platform leads to interpret the interaction between client goals, risk data and reporting outputs.
Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal English & Mandarin, other SEA languages are also preferred;
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field and/or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years of relevant market experience in program management, service quality assurance, data analysis, visualization and stakeholder communication, preferably within Ethical/Risk Compliance, Responsible Sourcing, brand, trading office, third-party service provider or manufacturing environments.
- Strong understanding of supply chain ecosystems, ethical sourcing audits, codes of conduct, industry schemes, manufacturing environments and supply chain practices.
- Able to perform data visualization, reporting and AI-enabled tools such as Power BI, advanced Excel and ChatGPT is preferred.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate internal teams, guide program staff and translate data or program requirements into clear business language.
- Detail-oriented and persistent, with the ability to identify system gaps, expose problems and assess risks.
- Results-oriented, self-motivated, responsive and detail-minded, with the ability to work under pressure and collaborate with stakeholders across different time zones.
- Able to work independently with integrity, ownership and basic people management capability.
- Occasional Travels might be needed
