Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Finance Manager to join our team in the Greater China region. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial insights, driving financial performance, and supporting decision-making processes. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Finance Manager in financial planning and analysis function for the Greater China region, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Support Finance Manager in month-end closing process including consolidation review, revenue recognition review and reconciliation of movement of Accrued and deferred income.
- Oversee Business direct cost including subcontractor fee, direct travel cost and others variable costs driving margin improvement..
- Prepare weekly revenue and sales forecast, sales flash, utilisation report and other financials dashboard for management review.
- Prepare profitability analysis by project, by product and by customer for month-end reporting.
- Monitor and analyse key financial metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Support the development and implementation of financial policies, procedures, and best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting , financial planning and analysis, preferably within a multinational company.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting, and budgeting tools and software. SAP/ByD experience is preferred.
