Role

As a Project Manager within LRQA Cyber Services, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful planning, governance, and delivery of projects that protect and strengthen our clients’ digital resilience. You will oversee the full project lifecycle, driving operational excellence while ensuring alignment with client, operational, and commercial objectives.

Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, you will champion best practices in project delivery, resource planning, and risk management. In this role, you will also serve as a trusted advisor to both clients and internal leadership, ensuring that every project is delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver successful outcomes: Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, and in line with agreed quality standards.
  • Set clear direction: Define project objectives, deliverables, timelines, and success criteria aligned with business priorities and client needs.
  • Manage the full lifecycle: Lead planning, execution, monitoring, and closure while ensuring compliance with governance and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive operational excellence: Track progress, manage risks, and implement corrective actions to maintain performance and quality.
  • Champion continuous improvement: Identify opportunities to refine processes, enhance efficiency, and promote best practices.
  • Collaborate across teams: Work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategic goals and client expectations.
  • Optimise resources: Oversee resource allocation and capacity planning to ensure optimal utilisation and project delivery.
  • Monitor performance: Track key KPIs—cost, schedule, quality, risk—and provide clear, timely reports to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Manage risks and issues: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks while escalating issues promptly to protect delivery timelines and quality.
  • Facilitate learning: Conduct post-project reviews and share insights to strengthen future project execution.
  • Uphold PMO standards: Promote the use of governance frameworks, tools, and methodologies to ensure consistency and value across delivery.

 

Technical & Professional Requirements

  • Proven experience managing complex projects in a professional services or technology-driven environment (essential)
  • Strong operational and delivery-focused mindset (essential)
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills (essential)
  • Project management certification (APM, PRINCE2, or equivalent) (preferred)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (essential)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Smartsheet, MS Project for the Web, and Excel (preferred)
