The role

There is a new and exciting opportunity for a Senior Threat Intelligence (TI) Analyst to join Nettitude’s Global Threat Intelligence Team and be part of our Advisory Services portfolio. The team help clients across the globe at the strategic level to under their threats and help test their assumptions and generate real-world, actionable intelligence and assessments that are then tested across our Red Teaming services.

This role requires a highly motivated individual, who will work with senior members of the team in generating and publishing Tactical and Strategic Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) for use in professional and managed service engagements.

As a senior analyst you must use all opportunities to improve the teams’ capabilities, both technically and operationally.

You must possess outstanding problem-solving skills, and communication skills, these are essential as you will be working closely with clients to potentially propose solutions, when serious threats are identified.

Finally, you must be passionate about the threat landscape and able to learn, understand and consult on new security solutions rapidly.

Location

 

This role is remote. We can support working from across the UK. All applicants will require residence in the UK.

 

What you’ll be doing in your role:

 

  • Planning and executing complex threat intelligence exercises across a range of services with Nettitude’s TI portfolio.
  • Taking ownership for continued improvement of service lines across our professional services portfolio and help mentor other team members and business units across Nettitude.
  • Maintaining an awareness and understanding of the global threat landscape and helping keep our clients informed at the stakeholder level.
  • Reviewing complex, technical threat data and being able to enrich the data with contextual information to produce intelligence for key stakeholder consumption.
  • Be responsible for team and independent collection, analysis, and production across our TI products.
  • Accurately and completely source all data used in tactical analysis services.
  • Assist in the sourcing of operational and strategic intelligence for use by all members of the team.
  • Expanding network access by conducting target analysis and collection to identify targets of interest.
  • Identifying and describing techniques/methods for conducting technical exploitation of the target using the Mitre ATT&CK framework.
  • Interpreting and applying laws, regulations, policies, and guidance relevant to organisation cyber objectives.
  • Evaluating information for reliability, validity, and relevance across a wide variety of sources and intelligence.
  • Building and managing client relationships and our excellent partner network.

 

 

Key Skills:

  • Strong written and speaking English skills.
  • Strong communication and diplomacy skills.
  • Extensive experience with analytical tradecraft.
  • Experience conducting threat modelling.
  • Good understanding of cyber security principles.
  • Experience in Cyber Threat Intelligence.
  • Experience using the Cyber Kill Chain.
  • Demonstrable research methodologies.
  • Demonstrable interest in technical IT security either vocationally or hobbyist.
