Role Purpose  

To undertake complex / tailored business assurance assessments and recommend certification, deferral, suspension, withdrawal of certification, validation or verification against the appropriate standard(s) including ISO9001, ISO14001, and ISO45001 plus GHG/Verification and lead groups / clients / schemes in the above

Technical / Professional Qualifications / Requirements

• Thorough understanding of management systems/scheme requirements and their application via a business assurance approach
• Qualified to assess against more than one major standard, sector scheme or a qualified LRQA Trainer e.g. ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO45001 and ISO14064/GHG/Verification
• Understanding/ appreciation of relevant legal/ regulatory framework
• Substantial experience in third party auditing/assessment including system level auditing and process level auditing
• Substantial industry experience in specialist sector, preferably within a management systems environment
• Understanding of the principles of client management principles and application within the role
• Experience in developing and managing complex technical projects
• Appreciation of the full range of LRQA products and services
• A degree (or equivalent qualification) in a relevant subject
• Competent in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Others :The successful candidate will have a working knowledge of Greenhouse Gas Emission Inventory methods, be an experienced lead verifier under multiple schemes (WRI GHG Protocol, The Climate Registry, etc.), and have broad industry experience base, including oil and gas, marine, the electric power sector, and the hospitality industry, among others.
